Life Lessons | An Intro the University of Life

Life Lessons | An Intro the University of Life

I am a student of the University of life. I believe we can always learn from our circumstances and surroundings. We all learn in different ways. For some, its through reading books. I can't read books. My mind wanders and I start dreaming as I scroll down the page. Believe it or not, I just don't read a lot of books. It is not how I learn. For some, they learn by listening, the audible. They can listen and consume knowdge this way. I learn by observing. I watch every thing around me. I study habits and patterns of others, I watch videos and I examine behaviors. Place me into a room with 100 people or a conference and I will walk out with so many things to apply to my life and my businesses. This is just how I learn.

I have been alive for 38 years, Throughout these, I have travelled and lived overseas. I have been a part of great teams and organizations, built 3 businesses, worked several jobs and chosen to take risks. I have been married for 14 years and now a Father for 3 of these. I have built great relationships and seen some of these crumble. I have been through difficult and great times, I have had times where money has been both present and absent. Through it all, life has taught me something and all I need to do is choose to enrol in this University called life.

So welcome to Life Lessons 101. I have no degrees behind my name, just a open heart and willingness to learn. Each week, I will be sharing about relationships, life, personal struggles and more and I hope that what I share is on inspiration and help for your journey ahead.

How do you learn?
