Our family travelled to San Diego for a much needed vacation and we had the pleasure of partnering with @visitsandiego. We would love to share more of our trip with you and feature a few of the incredible spots we got to experience! The first stop was Pantai Inn in La Jolla.
Pantai Inn is a Balinese inspired boutique hotel set along the beautiful coastline of La Jolla, California. The Balinese inspiration comes from the owners’ trips to Bali where they have purchased distinctive pieces including custom-made furnishings and original artwork imported directly from Bali, which are unique to each room.
Right across the street from the ocean, you can hear and smell the Pacific as waves roll in, which is particularly tranquil while enjoying the serene courtyard. With lush greenery, water features, lounge chairs and a fire pit, the courtyard was a personal favourite and where we enjoyed a beautiful complimentary breakfast each morning. The anticipation of breakfast was set each evening with a handwritten menu placed on the fridge in our room and did not disappoint with hot breakfast food offerings paired with homemade granola and a large selection of fresh fruit.
Another favourite was the turn down service each evening where we found the fireplace turned on, music playing, the curtains of the canopy bed pulled shut, chocolates and handwritten notes wishing of sweet dreams.
If I could describe the hotel in one word it would be this… tranquil! With the quaint size of the hotel, the courtyard was a few steps away from our room and felt more like a private backyard than a busy shared amenity of a large hotel. Our stay at the Pantai Inn was an unforgettable experience and we can’t wait to return!
