New York City is fast paced, alive and goes non-stop. It is impossible to see it all in a few days or even a week. You have to visit several times and even then, you will never be able to take in all that it has to offer. Staying in a central location is of the utmost importance in NYC and on my last visit, I found the perfect spot. Along with a few friends, we hit up The Arlo, a newly designed hotel that brings together the sleek styling that millennials love while at the same time offering comfort and most importantly a great location that will suit anyone of any age. If you want views, you can enjoy the world class skyline from their incredible rooftop with a perfect view of the iconic Empire State Building. The rooftop is a bar and restaurant and is a great way to enjoy NYC on a summer evening.
I spent days adventuring around NYC but before I left the hotel, I could grab my hand crafted coffee at their coffee bar. At night, their common space was the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a drink with friends and have a late night chat. On my final day, I was able to do some work in their library and enjoy wifi and coffee getting those last minute emails done before my departure.
Overall, I hit up some cool spots in NYC including Dumbo Park, Tudor City and Time Square. If you are going to visit NYC, give the Arlo a try and make it your home base for your urban adventure.
